The 49th running of the Cooper River Bridge Run will take place this Saturday, March 28, 2026. Approximately 38,000 participants are scheduled to be on the course, which starts in Mt. Pleasant along Coleman Boulevard and continues over the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge into downtown Charleston, finishing on Meeting Street near TD Arena.
Many roadways near campus will become impacted starting at approximately 8 p.m. on Friday, March 27, for the required setup of barricades and fencing.
Starting at 3 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, all vehicles parked on the race route will be towed.
Streets in the downtown section of the race route will close to all traffic starting at 6 a.m. on race day.
The Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge will close promptly at 7 a.m. on Saturday.
