Update to Hurricane Dorian (Sunday, September 1, 2019)

By | September 1, 2019

The College’s emergency management team continues to track Hurricane Dorian’s path and to make plans for securing campus for any adverse weather later in the week.

At this time, the College remains on its normal operating schedule, but that decision may change as the storm’s projected path becomes more clear.

No later than 5:30 p.m. this afternoon (Sunday, September 1, 2019), the College will make a decision regarding its operations for Monday (September 2, 2019) and the early part of the week and communicate that decision to the campus community.

The safety of our campus community is of the utmost importance. Students, faculty and staff who are currently away from campus are advised to use their best judgment in determining whether to return to campus for Monday, which is typically a regular class/work day at the College. Faculty members are advised to work with their students regarding any absences due to travel and safety concerns.
