The following message was sent to students on Monday, March 30, 2020:
Dear Students,
By directive of President Hsu, all Summer School classes, including Maymester, will be held online this summer. Hence I have asked all department chairs and program directors to close their face-to-face summer sections for additional enrollment at this juncture. This means you will not be able to register for a class on the summer school schedule unless it is listed as an online section.
More online sections are likely to be offered on the summer schedule as we move through the remainder of this week. As this process unfolds, however, those of you who registered for face-to-face Maymester and summer sections will receive notices that certain face-to-face sections have been changed to online delivery and others have been cancelled altogether.
At this point, I would advise you to continue to watch the summer schedule carefully and frequently this week and next as these changes are made. If you have any questions about course delivery changes, summer course cancellations, or online course additions, please contact the appropriate departments and programs.
