Campus Advisory: Campus and Parking Access Changes for Saturday, March 14

Due to several large events being hosted on the College of Charleston campus on Saturday, March 14, 2026, there will be some pedestrian and parking access changes in place for those attending events, including campus tours for admitted students. 

In order to ensure the best experience for all, pedestrian access will be limited as follows: 

  • Access to George Street between St. Philip to Glebe Streets will be limited to the sidewalk area on the south side of the street. 
  • Access to St. Philip Street between Calhoun to George streets will be limited to the east side of the street. Please follow Public Safety officer instructions if further restrictions become necessary. 
  • Access to Randolph Hall will be restricted. Tours will not be allowed to access the building. 
  • Access to the interior portion of the Cistern Yard will be restricted. Tours will not be granted access to the Cistern Yard.  
  • Access to the exterior portion of the Cistern Yard will also be limited. Pedestrians will not be allowed to approach the fence or wall. Pedestrian traffic near the Cistern Yard on College Way in front of the Rita Hollings Science Center will be limited.  

Parking access for the AD Lot (56 Pitt Street behind Addlestone Library) will be limited as follows: 

  • Access will be limited to AD Lot permit holders only.  

Please follow all signage and instructions from Public Safety officers managing large crowds on campus.
