College to Suspend Non-Essential Operations at 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 3

Update on Tropical Storm Isaias (Sunday, August 2)

 The College of Charleston Emergency Management Team continues to monitor the track of Tropical Storm Isaias.  A tropical storm warning is in effect for Charleston and surrounding counties, with tropical storm force winds (39 – 73 mph), significant rainfall, storm surge and coastal flooding possible for the Charleston area beginning Monday afternoon and into Monday night.  The storm is expected to produce up 3 to 6 inches of rain, which if combined with a high tide at 9 p.m.… Read More: Update on Tropical Storm Isaias (Sunday, August 2)  »

CofC Officials Monitoring Tropical Storm Isaias (August 1, 2020)

The College of Charleston Emergency Management Team is closely monitoring the track of Tropical Storm Isaias.  As of 5 p.m. Saturday, August 1, the National Hurricane Center had downgraded Isaias from a Category 1 hurricane to a tropical storm.
