In partnership with state, county and city officials, the College’s emergency management team continues to closely monitor Hurricane Florence and its potential impact on the campus and the greater Charleston area.

At the present moment, the storm’s track and its effects on the Lowcountry are still uncertain.

However, College officials hope to make a decision as soon as tomorrow, Saturday, September 15, regarding specifics on the reopening of campus.

With the hurricane only having made landfall in North Carolina early Thursday morning, the worst may be yet to come regarding wind damage, flooding and power outages throughout the region.

For those in harm’s way, our thoughts are with you. Please be safe.
