Update – (7:14 a.m.): Calhoun Street has opened back up to traffic.
Earlier message (6:22 a.m.): At approximately 5 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2, shots were fired from a car traveling on Calhoun Street between St. Philip and Coming streets. No one is believed to have been injured by the shooting. Charleston Police and CofC Public Safety are conducting an investigation. The area of Calhoun Street between St. Philip and Coming streets is closed while authorities investigate. Please avoid the area until further notice.
