Timely Warning: Off-Campus Armed Robberies

 

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act, the Department of Public Safety is informing the College of Charleston campus community of two robberies that took place in the immediate vicinity of campus.

Date (of offense):   8/25/2024

Time (of offense): 0110 hours

Reported to: Charleston Police Department

Location: Off-campus in  the area between Pitt and Coming Streets

Suspect status: At large

Suspect Description: Two unknown male subjects, both described as being armed with handguns, robbed victims at two separate locations. The suspects then entered a vehicle and fled east on Calhoun Street, out of the campus area.

Incident Description: CPD responded to two reports of robbery at separate locations, several minutes apart. _________________________________________________________
